Bath time fun

I don't have any pictures to show you tonight, but I had to write about our bath time tonight. Ellie has found out that it is really fun to kick her feet in the water. Now, for those of you that have seen her on the floor kicking... yes it is just like that, except in the water. So you can just imagine what it was like. Water was flying everywhere!! I mean everywhere! My whole arm and sleeve was soaked, and most of the front of my shirt! I had to use the shower curtain to protect me from getting just completely soaked!! Just when I thought that she was about done, she discovered that she could do the same thing with her hands. Apparently this was much more fun, because she screamed as I tried to lay her back. I thought to myself, "When she splashes herself in the face, she will quit." No... I was wrong. That was just funny to her. She would laugh and do it even more. Maybe next time Josh is home we can snap a few pictures. I wish someone would help me figure out how to get my videos on here, then I could show you alot more (hint,hint)

A night with Uncle Cody

Last night Ellison got to spend some time with her Uncle Cody. She had so much fun! She laughed and played all night long. She even started to make a funny face. She use to make that face when she was mad because she couldn't get something. Since we laughed at her, she does it all the time now for attention. Here are a few pictures from the night:

My Big Girl!

Well for a week now, Ellie has been sick with sinuses and a head cold. She is so young that they really couldn't gove her anything. We finally got them to give us some Nasohist dm which I like because it puts her to sleep! We'll see how well it works tomorrow. You can tell in some of the pictures how bad her eyes look.

Anyways, I wanted to show you some pictures that I took of her tonight. She is starting to sit up on her own. It usually doesn't last very long because she trys to look around, or grab a toy and she looses her balance. I also caught a picture of her holding her bottle. (I think the highchair was helping a little.)

"Cousin" Carter invited us to go swimming in his new in ground pool! It was so big it scared me! I didn't like the cool water. I much prefer my warm bath water!! After we got out we played around with each other and mom had to capture some pictures (as usual).

Carter: "What's so funny?"

Carter: "Why did you have to talk bout my mom!?!"

First Trip

Ellie went on her first trip this weekend. We went with Grandby, Papa, Greg's Family, and Inez to the Amish country and to Daivd Crockett State Park. To all of our surprise, she did amazing!! Didn't really cry at all! I think we will be able to take more trips now! I'm so excited!
