A typical night with Ellison

On a typical night with Ellison, you will find her in her chair at some point. It's not that I don't want to hold her but I want her to learn to play on her own too. Plus she loves it!! Just watch the video. I would love to meet the inventor of this chair and given him/ her a big bear hug! This chair has saved me from going insane. She loves to play in it. I sit her in it so I can eat, clean the house, or pay bills. It's a life saver. Enjoy the video!

My Ellison Grace

Well, what can I say about my girl. She is wonderful. She gives daddy kisses (usually pretty sloppy), and she loves to grab your face now and pull you to her. It's wonderful!! Here are a few pictures (as if I don't have enough on here).

Watching t.v with daddy... well, tried to watch t.v.

giving daddy kisses.

"Hey, come here daddy!"

Striking a pose

Roll Over Ellie!

Ellie has learned to roll over from her stomach to her back!!! I tried to capture a picture but couldn't really get it.

Baby Gator

I know you have all been waiting for this! Ellie finally fit into her Gator onesies. She looked so cute!! I had to capture a few pictures of her in it and her "pet" al-gator. I can't wait for football season... we are going to get her a cheerleader outfit.

See, she loves being a Florida Gator!!

School's Out for Summer!

Well we got no choice.
All the girls and boys.
Makin all that noise'
Cause they found new toys
Well we can't salute ya
Can't find a flag
If that don't suit ya
That's a drag

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces
No more pencils
No more books
No more teacher's dirty looks
Well we got no class
And we got no principles
And we got no innocence
We can't even think of a word that rhymes

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces
No more pencils
No more books
No more teacher's dirty looks
Out for summer
Out till fall
We might not go back at all

School's out forever
School's out for summer
School's out with fever
School's out completely

Sorry had to break out in a little song...

Finally the last day of school is over!! And the best part is that I didn't get pink slipped!! I'm tenured!! Well at least I should be. My principal loves me. I don't think that he would get rid of me.

I honestly have never been ready for the start of school in the fall! Crazy I know. But I really am. I am getting basic a totally new room!! I will have lab tables for students instead of desk, a big flat screen t.v on the wall, a laptop, smart board, projector, and an elmo!! WOW!! I'm so excited and I just can't hide it, you know, you know, you know? Sorry I broke out into song again.

Well, I am glad that I get to be with my baby all day again. Ellison has learned to reach and grab for things now. It's so fun to watch her. She is growing so fast now. She is also talking more. Well of course it's just baby talk, but it really sounds like she is trying to have a conversation with you. She will talk and then give you time to talk. It's so funny!

Well, I am just rambling so I will get off here. Have a great summer!!

I'm three months old already!!

Wow! What was that?

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the fellow mothers!!

Today was my very first mother's day. It was pretty good. I woke up to cards from my wonderful husband and beautiful daughter. Ellie surprised me at how great her card was seeing as how she can't read yet. We then went to church and ate at Porkey's with my family. On the way home, we saw Grandby and Papa. When we finally made it home, Ellie was so tired that I left her asleep on the couch with daddy and I went to Walmart. Yeah, I know. I had to go to Walmart on mother's day. Aren't I suppose to be the one asleep on the couch? Anyways, Josh made up for it by taking me out to PF. Chang's tonight. We had to wait for about an hour or more for a table but it was worth it. The food is EXCELLENT!!! When we got home from dinner, mom and dad had already given Ellie a bath and was feeding her. She was sooo sleepy! When I went to lay her in bed she didn't even move!! Now that's tired!! It was nice to have someone else bathe her and put her to sleep for me.

Well I don't have much to say. I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful mother's day in case I missed you today!

ALL THE WAY TO STATE!

Well, my softball girls have made it to the second round of sub-state! It is the first time in 15 years that ANY team at Woodville has ever made it this close to state!! Me and Cindy worked so hard to get these girls prepared for this one day. My only regret is that I can't be out there on the field with them. I had Ellie at the wrong time. But of course I would never take it back. I just really miss being out there and really sharing this with them.

I do hate the fact that everyone thinks that Charlie is "THE MAN" because he is practically the coach. The really believe that he is the reason they made it this far. Well, talking to my seniors tonight after the game, they coach themselves. I told one of the girls to run to second if she got walked because they weren't paying attention and she could sooo easily get there. I told Charlie to do the same thing. Well Morgan did it and then Charlie (I guess) decided that I was right and he started doing it with everyone else. It worked! They got up 12-0. But did I get the credit for it? NOOO! Charlie did. He even told the newspaper that the difference between this year and last year is that he doesn't pressure the girls. They are just out there to have fun and that I pressured them so much they couldn't focus right. See, to give you a little history, we made it to the first round of sub-state and lost out.

It just really upsets me that I can't be out there with the girls. I so miss it!! Oh, well. I guess I could look forward to next year, but then again, I won't have anyone!! My team will be horrible!!

Well, I am just rambling so I will stop and go to bed.

Ellie and her bear

She actually fell asleep on her pillow with the bear in her arms!!

New Chair

Alright, you know how you get tons of things at your baby shower, and you can't possibly remember everything you got? Well, I had forgotten about this chair. I saw it and thought that she would love it because she kicks around so much now. I put it together and these pictures are of the first time in it. I think they tell the story...

Rub-a-dub-dub

I have finally started to sit Ellison all the way down in the bathtub. I'm probably not suppose to be doing that yet, but I just wanted to give it a try. She loves it! I got Josh to capture some memories.

Not another picture mom! I'm in the tub!!

Alright, if you insist.

(sigh) I'm done.
